    Default Rotax 912 cdi modules

    Hello guys
Wondering if any of you folks have used the Modules available on EBAY? Here is the write-up from their ADD on Ebay. Seems like they may be "rebuilding" old CDI`s. Any ideas or comments. They are priced at 490 USD.

We are French enterprise, we propose CDI electronic units for replace original CDI units fit on ULM with Rotax 912 and 914 motors. Our units are double powered, first is same as original so with stator, second is with battery. This has two avantages, first is security if stator burn so CDI units continue to work with battery and let you time for to land, second is that motor start immédiately, they do not need to wait until the stator rotor assembly reaches a rotational speed to provide electricity.
We know that the place where the CDIs are placed is too hot, we propose a different cable length in order to move the CDIs on the paroi-fire, in general the length is between 70 and 110cm.

We can propose all the connections that can have original cdi, those of the photo are an example, are 2 x 6.

Our CDI units are very high quality, warranty is 2 years.

These appear to be reasonably priced and come with wire extensions allowing mounting away from engine. My 20 year old original ones do not seem to provide enough spark unless I heat them first!!

    Your comments please.
