Smile Landing Gear Bungee Shock Cords

What is the easiest way to install replacement Bungee Shock-Cords to my Kitfox 3? I am attempting to get the 5-6 wraps on my own and get get enough of a "stretch" out of the cord to wrap it that far. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Keith (317) 506-2854

Hi Keith, I have found that having someone help you is the easiest way to go, I have done it along but its a bear. I think if your do a search in the general discussion forum guys have posted about this and posted a picture of a modified pier to hold the cord. If you can get the seat assy out easily that also helps a lot.

The worst part is trying to get the HUGEcrimps that the factory uses through the framing for sixth wrap that is needed with their bungees.
