Ross, when I get mine finished, I'm going to plan a trip to the great south Island of NZ. My son-in-law comes from Nelson up north and I agree, some of the most beautiful country around. Also, I gotta land on that Milford Sound strip and fly along some of those canyons - looks spectacular ...

maybe if we organises a group from over this side of the ditch we can combat some of the cheek we are going to cop from Dusty!

Just took a 2 day trip to northern Washington to Lake Chelan, Stehekin airstrip, Methow Valley, Winthrop (a Western style town), North Cascades National Park, Orcas Island in the San Juan's and Roche Harbor.

Lived in Seattle for 12 months many years ago. Washington State is one of the most picturesque places on earth imho. Beautiful pictures Jim, thanks.

Tagged along as a plus 1 with my friends Colt on the way to Langley yesterday.
I flew both ways at 65 % power. 49 to 5000 rpm 26 inches MAP. Used 40 litres auto fuel. Stayed even all the way at about 90 knots.
The Colt used about twice the fuel .
Looks like he is trying to land on Mt. Baker.
