Wow! I just don't know what to say. My plane is in both of those several times! Certainly has been a good plane to me! She's taken me places I would have never gotten to experience.

Very nice! Is the speedster the only one you can do rolls with? Because of the shorter wing?

No. My model 4 with long wings rolls fairly quickly.

Roll a IV with folding wings?!?! I would have never thought it possible. I have not flown mine yet, but every time I look at that single bolt at the leading edge holding everything together I wonder "what if...".

Do not fear the folding wings, they have been around for a long time.

    Fun watching the promotional videos.
    Brings back good memories.

I was hooked on Kitfox performance the first time I saw 84DD flown by Dan. D. at Oshkosh '84'.

I wore out two VHS tapes over the following 5 year period dreaming of owning one someday.

The "Star" of those VHS tapes was the world famous 85DD. It's performance on wheels, skis and floats firmly set the hook for low cost, high performance aviation. I'm quite sure it hooked many pilots.

A few factory fly-ins ago I got a chance to fly 85DD thanks to SkySteve.
That was a fun 20 minutes and a chance to experience the early Kitfox era.
It's been fun watching our little Kitfox grow up over the years.

From 84DD to the latest 7 series Super Sport, they've never lost that fun factor.

One of the lines from the early videos always asked-" What are you waiting for?"

    Well?
