Can "jelled" Polytack be reconstituted with MEK ?

I'm 99% sure it can be. You can loosen totally cured tack with MEK and reposition your fabric so I don't see why you can't add it to gelled stuff.

Hey Finn, go on the polyfiber website and it says polytak that has hardened due to evaporation can be renewed with MEK (or something to that effect) I have done this a few times with no ill effects. Bruce

No problem.....poly tac is a pure solvent based product....no polymerization involved.... just add MEK to your liking.
