Default Model 2 or Model 3 Wings?

I recently picked up a Kit fox 2. It has a rocky past and came without logbooks. I think the wings might have been replaced with Model 3 wings but am unable to decipher the difference. Is there some specific trait that differes between the wings? The wing tanks say "model III" on them. I can post pictures if that would help. Thank you.

Model 2 and 3 wings are the same wing (Airfoil) So you really would not be able to tell a difference. The main difference came with the Model IV and New aircraft.

There are some differences that were done by builders regarding the wing twist (washout) It will most likely be a 1" or 1.75" twist.

I would like to figure out my useful load. It would be higher with the model three wings. Are the spars thicker?

Your gross weight is not only determined by the wings. Being a Model 2 you would have a 950 gross.
