when I bought my truck I tossed the factory tires and put Michelins on at almost 80K miles and tires still looks near new,,not a wobble shake vibration etc and though they are 6 ply tires they ride so nice

I don't remember the brand, but I used 2 oz of these type of glass beads in each of the new tires on my truck and they work great.

Though, I've been told that if you use them in a sportscar, with the sudden acceleration and braking they are known for, the beads were far less effective. This would lead me to think that in an airplane with the sudden 0-40 or 50 the tire does on landing, beads wouldn't work well.
