Two questions:
1. Why do the plans call for stiffeners on the rudder, but not on the elevator?
2. I'm beginning to work out the details of the tail access cover and am finding that the forward wood bulkhead and the lower v-stab rib don't meet up worth a darn. That is, the top of the bulkhead is sgnificantly wider than the forward part of the rib. My thought is to simply trim the sides of the bulkhead so that things line up and are fair. Anybody run into this?
