    Remote desert land in South Africa - Northern Cape / Kalahari Desert.
    Own water and tents - Shovel for toilet (to stop the paper being blown around when we're gone.)

    The storms do come up quickly, like in OZ, but land, wait a bit and fly on in clear and sunny, cooler , smooth conditions behind it...

    And I agree with your comment about the storms ie the difference in Reid's description and what we experience - I reckon we might have to sit for a few days..
