Behind the seat just out board the baggage sack, right or left hand side. I also mounted the ELT antenna in the same location.

    Thank guys,

I did talk to John M. today about some other items and Kitfox is now welding tabs in the area you are referencing for an ELT.

About half way back near the bottom left side in an area where several tubes come together. Whip Antenna is in upper vertical stabilizer. Not the easiest to get at but can be done through one of the metal access covers. The reason for the location is distance from other transmit antennas. Evidently the fabric covering does not reduce the signal as I once moved the control switch from OFF to ON instead of ARM after an annual ELT test. Got a call from NOAA in about 5 min. Promised to not do that again. And plane was in the hangar with door partway open. Only issue is that I wish I had put an inspection plate in the bottom directly under the unit as I trailer the plane to airport and turn ELT off for the trip. So I have to undo the aft corner of the baggage sack to get at the ELT switch.
