    Default Varnish cure before covering

I varnished my balsa wood tips on the elevator and horiz stab yesterday. How long do I need to wait before covering them? The label on my varnish is worn off where the instructions are.

If it's Poly Fiber epoxy varnish, the manual says 7 days at 70 deg F to full chemical resistance. If it's warmer, you could probably do it a little earlier, but you do want them chemical resistant before you start wetting them with MEK-based Poly Stuff.

Also, there is a full reference at the back of your Poly Fiber manual that has all the instructions for every Poly Fiber product. Very handy.
