    Default Auto pilot

So has anyone installed an auto pilot system in their ss7? I know this might seem over kill for this type plane but for longer trips it might be nice. I am not even sure how the servos hook up to controls so you can see i am very green in this area, any info would be great

I haven't and probably won't put in the AP, but for those of us who have the Dynon or Advanced Flight Systems (and I am sure several others) EFIS the auto-pilot electronics are already included in our system whether we use it or not. All that is necessary is to install 2-axis servo actuators.

You might want to search previous post on this subject. I believe Dorsal has the auto pilot system installed in his ac with pictures included in posts.

This is how I did mine. Very simple, no welding and very adjustable.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am building a lV, so there is no interference.
