Control System Schematics

Hello and thanks in advance.
I'm trying to help out a friend who recently purchased and incomplete Kitfox 4 Kit from another individual. He has built several small aircraft but did not get any instructions for installation of the control system with this kit he purchased. If anyone has the schematics that you could email I would really appreciate it. Pictures of the interior controls for the Flaperons would be helpful as well if there are no schematics available.

Thanks Dick B. I've done that and they have said that due to the "Liability issues" the only thing they could do is sell him whatever parts he requires to finish his kit. Providing schematics for an incomplete kit creates liability which they would prefer to stay away from.

Actually, I called 208-337-5111 in the beginning of July and was told "Liability issues" was the reason for not providing schematics.

I sent an email TODAY and received this response:

"Please refer to the builders manual for the aircraft.. if one is not
available we have them on CD. $89.95"

Which I appreciated and proptly forwarded to my friend.

If by "Schematics" you are wanting engineering drawings, I doubt you'd get these from any aircraft kit manufacturer.

Why would a company give (or even sell) their propriatory designs for someone to potentially copy? Counterfeit parts can be a very big problem for any manufacturer.

The assembly instructions are something completely different.

No worries.... Most likely terminology.... Builders manual is the assembly instructions... Which is what I assumed you or your friend is referring to.
Schematics may have been perceived as manufacturing drawings which we do not release. Sorry about the Mis-understanding.
