    Default Temperature Probe

If I have a probe in the style of the attached picture, will any spade terminal that will fit work?

Also, my EIS only has one wire for things like oil temp and OAT. Do they not need two thermocouple wires like my CHT? Or does the probe make the information to send down a single wire.

I think that a good quality spade terminal like that is fine, Josh. My favorites are T&B brand, but there are other goods ones also. I also like to use a little silicone rubber boot (Aircraft Spruce, etc.) to fit over it.

The ground return path for the signal is through the body of the sensor and the grounded engine.

Thanks John, it’s surprisingly hard to find information online about it.
