Default Grove Gear for Model IV

Anybody have a set of Grove gear they would be ready to sell asap for a model IV before I order new. Don't really want to wait 10-12 weeks for a new set.

You may want to consider the spring gear like Trent Palmer has he took off his grove and went to a spring gear as it's better for some Backcountry Landings I have the Grove on my model IV and while it's okay it does tend to give you a bounce if you don't touchdown perfect I just soloed a student with a conventional gear in his kitfox IV and it does not handle bad so if you've got that stick with it for a bit and check your options in fact I am amazed at how easy his plane is to land with the conventional gear and the big nanco tires

Thanks Norm, I seen a guy on Barnstormers that makes his own type of "bush spring gear". Its well priced, i was just a little unsure on how that gear compared to the Grove.

See if you can get a response from Trent as to why he changed and what he recommends. Maybe shoot him an msg using the board functions.

If I recall correctly he stated that the Grove acts like a spring. He put the high performance shocks on his and it, along with his large tires, absorbs the impact and doesn't rebound back into the air. He has shown us some hard landings in his videos and that plane just sticks to the earth.
