    Default Prop bolt?

I purchased the IVO medium 3 blade prop. It came with the flange and regular hardware store grade 8.8 bolts. Is this what I should run or should I find some AN bolts? Kind of weird to me that IVO doesn't use aircraft bolts for something as critical as a prop mounting flange.

If it were me, I would definitely use AN or MS hardware for this critical application. You really do not know the pedigree of common graded hardware.

No way would I not use AN or MS hardware on prop bolts. This has been said by others previously. These bolts are not that expensive.
