Default need help with forums page display

My laptop reset and I can't remember how I limited the number of pages displayed across the top. I have to scroll across to see when and who updated a page last. I find it very frustrating. Can anyone lend a hand?

I would love to know how you fixed this to begin with. I have searched all over the place but still get 109 pages in the general discussion area.

As soon as I signed in it went down to just a few pages. I have no idea how I fixed it last time. Maybe I'll play with it again and post my findings...

Ok, I figured it out again. Go to the bottom of the page, and there is a little box of drop down menus. On the right drop down menu you can select how far back you want to see posts. Try one week or a month.

That's way better. Thanks, now I can actually see the right side of the screen without having to scroll over.

Ok, so I am still having issues with this. I can set the posts to 100 days and be able to see the right side of the screen. However I need to do this every time I come to the site. I have the remember me box ticked so I do not have to log in every time. How do I make the Max posts stick to something other than "from the beginning"?

When you click into the website, why don't you just click the "New Posts" button on the top of the screen in the blue bar, just right of center?
