    Default Whelen strobe/pos lights

Seeking input on upgrades to my Whelen Strobe/postion lights--- On my set up, I have what seems like an older power supply for my Strobes. I can hear it running when it fires the strobes. Sounds like little electric motors inside that whine on and off. I also hear it in the headsets but I think I got some wring issues. Also the unit is on the heavy side and looks like old technology. I have seen other Whelen power supplies in emergency vehicles and they don't make any noise and they are tiny compared to what I have. I was wondering if I could use like a Whelen CPS 660 instead of the brick of a power supply I am using now? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Call Whelen, they probably have a newer, smaller power supply that will work.
