Default Trying to identify holes in firewall?

There are two holes in the firewall with a pattern of three small holes surrounding the larger hole. What are these for? optional heater?

    thanks in advance

    Tim,

I am not sure all firewalls are created equal from the factory over the years....got a photo? Firewall forward kit for which engine? Which series Kitfox?

As Marv said & you guessed....looks like the correct position for the heater hoses.

Our S7 was an early model and no holes existed for the heater hoses...builder had to cut them.

yes they are for heater hose fittings. Kitfox fabricates the fittings. I purchased them from kitfox for my Super sport project.

    Tim,
The holes shown are for the heater fittings. As most everyone installs a heater we have started cutting holes in the firewall. If you are not installing a heater we have cover plates already drilled to match that can be riveted in place.
