    Default Fabric Covering ??

Anyone apply anti chafe tape to the edges of the ribs on the tail surfaces before covering them?
Also, anyone rib stitch the tail surfaces, Rudder, horizontal Stabilizer and elevator ??

    Thanks

I rib stitched all tail surfaces on my Model IV-1200. My reason was consistency in appearance after putting in an experimental rudder trim system. The trim system warped the ribs using an electric servo that could change the airfoil of the rudder. I wanted both sides of the rudder fabric snugged tightly against the surface of the ribs.

I applied anti-chafing tape, don't know why, it just seemed like a good idea at the time.
