Limit number of pages displayed

How can I limit the number of pages displayed on the pages bar (to the right of the New Thread button) at the top of the forums. In the Kitfox General Discussion forum there are 127 pages and the bar at the top shows all 127 making the page extremely wide.
Couldn't find anything in User CP, or I'm not looking at the right thing...

From the main page in the Kitfox General Discussion forum, scroll down to the last thread topic and, on the bottom left side of the page, find the Display Option selections. Change the 'From The' drop down menu from 'Beginning' to a shorter time frame, i.e. 'Last 100 Days'.

That did it! now - is there a way to save that? When I back out and go back in it reverts to all pages...

I think I figured it out... In User CP, Edit Options, Thread Display Options, Default Thread Age Cutoff, I changed from Show All Threads to Show Threads From Last Year.
That seems to have done the trick...

Thanks for this tip. That wide display of "All Threads" has been driving me nuts.
