This is what I fabricated, locks all control surfaces plus applies the brakes. Locks into bracket located under the instrument panel.

Really, I'm just poking fun, but did you really have to put a notice to "remove before flight".

Seriously though that's quite a contraption! Nice job! Definitely another idea to consider.

    WWILLYARD,
That took some time, no doubt. I'd try to patent that quickly...then you could produce and put on the market something that is applicable to allot of stick and rudder A/C. At least make one for each of us here on the forum...what a great lock! I'm impressed!

BTW, you COULD save some ounces by omitting the RBF tab....

I finally got back to the hanger (making a living got in the way) to take some pics. Like the rudder lock, I made it from leftover pieces & parts laying around and some 2" pvc. Cost me $0.

    Hi guys
Just for fun I am posting a pic of my low budget but fully functional control locks. I have tried the "over the stick down to the rudder pedals"thing but never could get it right . Anyway these take about 10 minutes to make, weigh and cost nothing and so far after about 3 years usage are bullet proof. I like that they do not put stress on the control linkages.
    Have fun
    Cheers

    Hello All.

I used cubtractor's idea and made this.
Also a quick and easy rudder lock.
