Default Elevator Differences (Model III and Lite2 tri-gear)

I have a model III elevator, which appears identical to my friends Model IV-1200 elevator.

I see Kitfox offers a larger one. Anyone have experience with this elevator option and/or what the general differences are?

Designed for the tri-gear version of the Kitfox Lite2, but suitable for earlier Kitfox’s this new Elevator improves flare authority with a full flap, forward CG condition.

Just a guess.... Would be bigger elevator be to help combat the issue of running out of back stick in a "Full Flap" flare / 3 point landing?
