Default Mod. IV horizontal tail V support

I just received my new tail struts from the good folks at Kitfox. Mine is a '94 vintage with a welded V strut. The new ones are two piece with welded tabs at one end and threaded rod at the other for rodends. What a nice upgrade! the tubes go from pencil sized to finger sized! All the hardware is included. I hope Fathers day is a day in the barn with my Kitfox!

So much larger than the old welded V style. I’m taking them to work tomorrow to wire wheel the welded ends and paint them.

It's an '01 I found in Ohio. Only had 25,000 miles when I bought it 3 years ago.

A Corvette is my dream car. Wonder how many of us Kitfox owners feel the same way. Apparently at least a few of us. I went to check out the new Corvette a couple months ago as I started putting money in the bank to make my purchase. Uhhhh, the one I want is going to take me over five years to save for at this rate. Maybe my dream truck is more manageable.

Nice Vette Jay. You found a sweet low mileage ride.
