    Default Manifold pressure

First I would like to thank those folks that responded to my question regarding the best prop for an 912UL 80HP on a Vixen. Just today I ordered a new 70 inch IVO ultralight IFA with "patriot blades". I have also ordered a manifold pressure gauge. How are most of you hooking up this gauge. I do not see a plug anywhere on the intake manifold so are you drilling/tapping directly into the casting or is there another option? I did not buy the "constant speed controller". Any comments on these?
    Thanks
    Don

Don, I drilled and tapped the balance tube between the carbs and bonded in a barbed fitting to attach the MP tubing to. Then I installed the prop controller brush set provided by Kitfox Aircraft and placed the switch next to the throttle. Worked great.
