    Default Zulu Sierra flies

First flight today for N594ZS (IV 1050 Classic) at Turners Falls, MA. Rustled up some courage and took off. Immediately knew aok. Flew for 30 minutes, landed smooth as silk, looked things over, refueled and flew for another hour to explore slow flight and get eight or ten landings. YeeHaw! Flies very nicely. Flight controls a little sticky or stiff. Hopefully they’ll loosen up a bit.

Was unable to get over 1500 feet so didn’t stall but was able to maintain altitude with 3000rpm at 30 mph indicated. Gotta fly a calibration run.

    Crosswind handling real nice. Whew!

Have plans to test then add gap seals, VGs, etc slowly slowly, step by step.

Congratulations !. First flight has to be a big buzz. Slowly, slowly .... the best approach. Fly safe and enjoy the ride.
