    Default ADS-B antenna placement

Has anyone done a complete in/out ADS-B installation on their Kitfox yet, and if so did you maintain the minimum 5 ft. separation between your transponder antenna and the UAT ADS-B antenna. I'm just trying to see if anyone has had experience with the antennas closer to each other than that. That is the minimum spacing that is required in the NavWorx installation manual.

Yes, also a Navworx, and I put the ADS-B Antenna in the tail, seems to work well (did it about a year ago).

Thanks Dorsal... do you have any pictures of the installation that you can share?

    John,
Will take some next time I am up at the hangar. I put a small AL plate just forward of the leading edge of the horizontal stab inside the fuselage. I mounted the antenna facing down to try to stay clear of the inspection panels.
