    Default Cargo Pod

    Cargo Pod questions:
    1. What are the dimensions of the Factory pod?

    2. How much weight can it actually hold?

    3. What are the normal/usual attach points and location of the atached pod?

    4. How much cruise speed does it cost?

    5. How much additional fuel usage does it cost?

    6. Do you need to move your transponder antenna and if so, where?

    7. Does the pod adversely affect the effectiveness of the transponder antenna?

These question are interesting for me, too.
Has anybody build a cargo pod (Bomb) for himself and could give
instructions to build a cargo pod?
To buy a new one with shipping to germany is very expensive, if somebody has to sell a used pod, please give me an information.

We use the Pod when we want to bring the folding bikes and want enough stuff for an overnight at a B+B.

Hummmm, maybe I have a plan! I need to go out to the airport and see how much space is actually available for storage. Only issue would be the weight in the back of your wheel pant during landing could cause the wheel pant to crack. Never mind bad idea!

I forgot to say, I love the little bomb, that would just look cool!

Used an original pod to build a mold so I could modify the cargo pod with a front opening for easy loading. Pod is made out of Kevlar. Cruise penalty is aprrox 2kts, fuel penalty neglectable.
