I took a very experienced jumper up last summer. He's a bigger guy at 6'-2" and maybe 220#. He said he would have NO interest, whatsoever of jumping from my Model IV-1050, too cramped to move and jumping in front of the strut is dangerous...

Good point AV8 never thought about the strut being in the rear. Guess I never looked at from a skydivers point of view!

I agreed once to let an instructor jump from my Model 1.
I was also concerned about cramped spaces and strut location and not having to use the ballistic chute if things went wrong.
Jumpers want to try all kinds of different platforms to jump from just like we want to land our bush planes where we shouldn't.

I find it very difficult to get out of the plane while it's sitting on the ground. Seems everytime I try, that stick in between my legs get in the way. I also have the thought of a person hitting the struts and the tail on the way out. I have thought of trying such a feet with a dog or cat though

Personally, I could never understand why anyone would want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane...let alone one as classy as a Kitfox!!
