Hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe Memorial Day weekend.

Our flag flew Saturday, and today (Sunday).... and she will fly proudly Monday!!

There is not a day since 1970 that I have not had at least one remembrance of those guys we lost in our unit in Vietnam. Some really great guys...

I spent a quiet very pleasant Memorial Day. This was due in great measure to the effort and sacrifice of those who helped preserve our treasured way of life.

An interesting side note: My wife who works for UAL returned late Memorial Day from Frankfurt and will be leaving early Wednesday for Tokyo. Yes, I am old enough to remember.
