    Default static port info

    Does the ss7 kit come with a static port, raw stock, or information of any kind? Maybe i'm just missing it. thanks, ken

    Mine is model 4 1200 ,,,and is come with...so im pretty sure your come with to...

    Hello Ken,
    Static ports did not come with my kit. I used the ports sold by Avery Tools:



    I referred to these instructions when I installed my static system.

    hi ken, we just left the static port open on our ss7 works fine. also on my rv7 I plumbed every thing per the build manual and put in an alternate static in the panel. with the static system as per the manual the air speed indicator, altimeter, vsi were all way off. opened the alternate static port and all was correct. go figure?

    Kitfox has a static port kit for sale with instructions. I used it.

    I like the looks of the kit from avery tools. But jimmy, you make a strong argument. decisions, decisions.
