    Default Weighing Technique

I am asking anyone on this forum how I can get information on how to do a proper weighing and subsequent calculations to arrive at the flight range of a tricycle gear Vixen?

Our EAA Chapter has a good set of scales.

    Thanks much, Skot

I know there are differences between the Vixen and the SS7 TriGear, however, this might help: http://kitfoxaircraft.com/index.php/...sembly#page/85

It is a link to the SS7 Assembly Manual on the Kitfox Aircraft website. It gives the procedures for conducting the weight and balance on the SS7 Trigger. You will have to do the measurements and calculations for yourself, but it does provide guidance.

If you have the manuals for your Vixen, that would also give you guidance.

It's been flying for quite some time, right? Are you sure you really want to know what it weighs? They always weigh more than you think.
