    Question LSA related to Kitfox

What does LSA mean for me and potential benefits and/or liabiities?

I am a private pilot with current medical.

Are only certain Kitfox planes LSA compliant, or are all Kitfox compliant?

What are the implications of owning a Kitfox as a private pilot with medical, related to the Kitfox potentially being considered a light sport aircraft?

    • Is the LSA Kitfox restricted from Class B airspace?
    • Is the LSA Pilot restricted from Class B airspace?
    • Are LSA Night operations allowed?
    • Can LSA Kitfox aircraft Carry a Passenger?
    • Are there Insurance concerns?
    • ... your insights...

I just read an article here that referenced the Kitfox as an LSA compliant aircraft. I'm planning on buying a Kitfox in the next few months.

As I get older, I can see where I might not pass a medical, and if the Kitfox is LSA compliant, I might still be able to fly. But, if the Kitfox is not allowed into certain airspace, I want to know about that.

The Sport Pilot requirements (as a link) are the last item at the bottom of the page - sorry for not mentioning that at first
