    Default Hvlp

    Hi,

I'm looking for a used HVLP system that is for sale. I've been watching on EBay, but so far have not found what I wanted.
Anyone here got one for sale, or know of anyone?

    Thanks,

I purchased a Devilbiss Finishline 3 HVLP gun for painting my Pacer. Brand new, unused out the door was around $130.00. The gun is great quality and did a good job for me. Have you thought about just purchasing new? I would be skeptical on a used paint gun that may or may not have been taken care of. Of course you do need a good air compressor to get enough CFM airflow.

    Hi Scott,

Yes, a new gun would be great.

What I need is a compressor. Shoulda made that clear.

The HVLP compressors run from $300.00-$1600.

    Thanks!

Hey Tommy,Check out Wagners HVLP Conversion gun.You use a regular air comp. but it needs to be 2 hp or larger.I purchase one but also have a 2 hp comp. The comp. needs to be like a twin cylinder with a minimum 12 gallon storage tank.

    The guys in this thread:

seem to have had success with some pretty inexpensive Wagner paint guns.

I used a "HVLP" gun from Harbor Freight powered by a standard air compressor, works just fine for PolyTone.
