Question My feet are too big!

My feet are hitting the brakes first instead of the rudder pedals on my KitFox II.
Is there any way to adjust the brake pedals so that I can hit the rudder pedals first???
My first take off in this plane was kinda exciting as I kept hitting the brakes instead of the rudder as I tried to straighten the plane out on the runway when I was making a take off.

Thankfully, I make three take offs and landings OK, the day after bringing "Little Red Fox" home from Georgia.

Post a picture. Look for a linkage adjustment. You could try flying in soft sole thin slippers, so you can feel what you are doing a little better.

I am in the same boat and have to be careful where I place my feet on the pedals. Something that helped me was, putting a piece of heater hose on the bottom tube of the pedal. It helped me feel the position of my foot on the pedal and it gives better traction than just the bare tube.
