    Default Main Wheel Arm Question

I did a weight and balance on my KF4-1200. It has the factory gear and was leveled according to the manual. The main wheel Arm is .75...does that sound right? The tailwheel weight is 41 lbs., and the empty weight is 665 lbs. Thanks, Dan.

My arm is 2.25" so yours sounds a little short.

Is the reference for your plane the leading edge? Maybe recheck that distance.

(Dan-- I haven't had a chance to look at my build manuals for that other information, yet. Sorry... )

As per the "Skystar" weight and balance instructions....."Datum:Leading edge of wing"..."Leveling Means:Bubble level on longitudinal fuselage floor tubing BELOW the cabin". I used the tube that the landing gear attaches to. My mechanic says that he checked the "door sill" tube to the tube I used and they were parrallel to each other.... Dan
