    Default Kitfox Lite

Anybody know if the Lite or the UL Avid actually made 254 lb?

AS far as I know, no. They were always a little heavy for part 103.

The "Belite" (what the Kitfox lite became) has made it with lots of carbon fiber and super light weight engines.

Yes the Kitfox Lite could meet the 254 lb weight limit. It was within a few pounds but many were very legal. Back in the day it was talked about having scales at the entrance to the UL field at both Sun-n-Fun and Oshkosh.. if the UL was not legal it couldn't fly. They never did it because they wanted flying at the UL field by more then a few.
