    Default Kitfox lift

I adapted this Aero Lift to fit a Kitfox SS. Almost doubled the hangar space.

    Hi Bob,

That's appealing to me... would you share anything you can about ease of use and modification necessary for the Kitfox? Also the cost of the unit?

    Thanks!

Hi John, missed you at Airventure!
Unfortunately the Aero Lift is no longer made or in business. However it's not a difficult lift to build using standard industrial steel and a 2 ton hoist. I could send you the spec sheet and you can fashion your own. The Aero Lift is way over engineered for the strength required to support a Kitfox.

Is the aircraft secured to lift with chains, or is it only gravity that holds it on the lift?

Just rests in steel plate cradels with removable chocks. Secure enough.

It appears that a two post car lift would work too. Great idea for guys with two planes

    Bob,

We are also interested in a set up such as this. Currently we have a rather tall hangar with a Mooney parked in it and I think this would be a great way to maximize space.

Any chance you could shoot me a copy of the spec sheet as well?

    Regards,

    Dustin
