Question Can you ID These Mystery Parts?

    Hi all,

I've just wrapped up an exhaustive parts inventory on two new kits I'll be listing for sale soon and have a few mystery parts I can not identify. Can you help me please?

In the first two pics are four parts that I believe may be part of the 'Model 4 Retrofit Control System (19065) To Model 3 Aircraft Serial #'s Less that 1400 Kit', ordered from Denney Aerocraft in 1992.

Note that the middle two tab brackets are shaped similarly, but meant for different size tubing. Note also, the top two items do have parts numbers taped to them, but they do not correspond to the kit Parts List nor can I find any reference to them.

Looking at the Parts List for this retrofit kit, my inventory process suggests that the top three parts in the pics may be 'New Part #'s 2.2 or 2.3, but I don't know which is which. I have no idea what the last part is for or it's part #.

Does anyone have a pic of part #12006 and/or know its location/use?

Last, what is the aluminum cylinder with threaded end openings? Marked as Part #35013.000, I can find no reference to that.

Thanks for playing "I Can Name That Part in _?_ Minutes!"

Thanks, that is what I thought as well. Do you happen to know which model kit this was included in? My KF-3 brake cylinders had the integral reservoirs. Was this remote reservoir standard in KF-3 or early KF-4 kits (my KF-4 had a clear reservoir)? And do you happen to know for use with which type/mfg master cylinders it was paired with.

Of course, this does bring up another question :

What is the difference between part #LBRH-13 'Master Cylinder Assembly' supplied in the KF-3 Main Landing Gear Kit vs. part #LBRH-14 'Brake, Master Cylinder' supplied in the 'Dual Brake Option Kit (K1190)' for a model 3? Could the reservoir actually be part #LBRH-14 by chance, I have yet to tick that off in my inventory.

    I appreciate the help!

Yeah, came with my 4 as well.

I believe I have Cleveland brakes? I think... it looks like a brass housing?

Your reservoir looks the same as my Classic 4 Brake fluid reservoir. It is p/n 35013. My master cylinders are Cleveland p/n 39016

Many thanks for all the replies. As my Packing List does not include a brake reservoir, I am going to consider this item part of the main Landing Gear Kit for the Model 3.

@t j - that was just the detail I am after, much appreciated!

Hopefully now someone can confirm Part #'s LBRH-13 or LBRH-14. My original Packing Lists show one pair of each supplied, however, I only have (1) pair of Matco MC-4a's and I'm not sure if they were part #LBRH-13 'Master Cylinder Assembly' supplied in the KF-3 Main Landing Gear Kit or part #LBRH-14 'Brake, Master Cylinder' supplied in the 'Dual Brake Option Kit (K1190)' for a model 3.

@Dutch - thanks for your offer, PM sent. I am real curious just what those other parts are and the location/function. Looks like those stumped a lot of folks!

While on the mystery part subject, does anyone have a set of rear baggage compartments for a Model 3? I've never seen these before and somewhat at a loss exactly how they are installed. These were designated 'Old Part No. SC-3, Left Behind-seat fiberglass bucket' from Seat Compartment Kit #K1133, and 'Old Part No. SC-4, Right Behind-seat fiberglass bucket' from Seat Compartment Kit #K1134

    Thanks
