Smile Early Kitfox Photos Courtesy of Glen "S19Flyer"

Here are some very early photos sent to me by Glen "S19Flyer"
of Dan Denney and the first Kitfox. Always fun to see vintage photos of the beginnings.
Glen told me it's been years since these photos have been seen. Photos are of Dan at a gas station pulling the first Kitfox. Glen said Dan was in a hurry and didn't have much time to talk. May of 1986 according to Glen's emails when he made a trip to Idaho from Baytown,TX in his 1974 Nova to see the Avid factory. Shots of the Avid factory are included below. Thanks Glen. Last photo continues on next post.

Great pics, Thank you Dean and Dan and countless others that have contributed to the planes we fly today.

Thanks for posting the pic's Steve. I thought they might be of interest to some.

That was a long time ago. 5500 miles in two weeks with a 16 month old (my daughter) made for some interesting times.

A good trip all in all, including the chance encounter with Dan

    Cheers

Playing around with my image files this morning and I found this. The cowl has been reworked, but I think the airplane is the same.
