    Default Bluehead coolant plumbing

I'm swapping out my 20 year old 582 gray head for a Bluehead. It'll be here next week and I'm trying to get things ready for quick installation so I can take advantage of what flying weather we have left before winter here in South Dakota.

Since the gray head didn't have a coolant re-circulate circuit like the Blue, the plumbing will be different. I'm not sure how to go with it though. Is a hose from the recirculating fitting on the top of the head on the carb side, to the input on the exhaust side (bottom of engine) good enough? Anyone got some pics of their installation?

    Thanks,
    Chris Carlisle

It's identical except it has the bypass hose going across the head. On my Avid I had to trim the cowl the clear it but all the other cooling fittings are the same.
