Thread: Maximum Propeller Blade length

  1. #1

    Default Maximum Propeller Blade length

Looking for advice on maximum propeller length for series 5-7 & SS, with 8.50 tires. I'm currently running a 72" and I have descent ground clearance. I want to know if anyone is running a longer prop even up to an 80" borer. I am running a Lycoming so I have the horse power to run a longer prop.

I think Trent is running an 82” but he has 29” wheels and monster shock gear.

    I run a 74" on my IO-240B, and have 6.00x6 tires

    Yes, Trent has a 82".

The Mangy has a 78". I had lots of clearance with the 21x800-6 tires.
