    Default extra fitting on radiator

    Hi all,

I just bought a new radiator from the factory for my model 4.

Apart from the expected 1" hose connections there is a 1/4" bung welded in on the lh side of the radiator. Does anybody know if this serves a purpose?
I thought it might be used to hook up a heater core. route the hose up through the belly fabric, put the heater core under the seats and presto...freshly baked buns

    Probably a drain port.
