Default Flat engine in a round cowl...

A friend of mine is building a KF IV, with a Jabiru 2200 engine. He wants to retain the round cowl. Has anybody had to make any modifications to the cowl to get one to fit?
Any photos would be a great help.

    Thanks,

    Steve Schlager

If it'll fit in a model 2 with some work it will definitely fit in a model IV with modifications. See pics of member Ibushrod...

I thought about building a IV with a Jabiru2200 myself for a long time: there sure are some pretty nice pictures available, a.o. take a look at http://www.matronics.com/photoshare/...-list.html#Top

I chose another engine because this is my first project, and did not wanted to be into too much unforseen trouble (e.g. for cooling reasons) - besides, all KitFoxes in Holland are Rotax-driven, so I have some live examples overhere..., but the Jab is a fine engine - lots of succes!!
