Default AH -So you flew into Creek

OK - So forgive me up front for posting this here - I know it's not
    strictly Kitfox stuff.

But so many people here have flown into Johnson Creek and have written about it and taken fantastic pictures - and the Kitfox is such a cool airplane to fly in the mountains. Johnson Creek is high on my list of airports to visit.

That is why I want a Rotax nine hundred twelve engine for my Kitfox. My Rotax five hundred and three engine does not have enough power to fly into Johnson Creek..

This made me scratch my head until I watched the clip. Then I came back, reread and LOL'd.

Hmmm...I think our abundantly-confident little friend at Johnson Creek is undoubtedly ready to try something more challenging. I think I'll refer him to this site that was carried in this past week's AviationNews (one word)

I'll bet he can then do a three-hundred and sixty and still get into/out of anything with his Skywagontrain (TM) without so much as a modicum of perspiration!

Having flown into Johnson Creek I was expecting something different than this flick. I did enjoy watching it.

Here is the real Johnson Creek with 4 foxes in the den.

I met Steve Henry (the dead stick takeoff guy) and his wife at Airventure last summer. He is an amazingly skilled pilot and he wears that Highlander like a suite. And really nice people to boot!

If you come down to the Ultralight area you can see all kinds of neat stuff and interesting people like this. Plus it's a fun and challenging strip to work...
