Default Rigging of model 7 elevator

Could somebody tell me what the travel limits are for the elevator on the model 7? I upgraded to the larger elevator on my KF5 and have it rigged per my build manual, which is for the smaller elevator. I'm just wondering if the travel is different.

My manual says 39 degrees trailing edge UP and 20 degrees trailing edge DOWN. (Super Sport)

You may want to confirm this with John at Kitfox.

    Phil,

We have an early S7 with the manual trim. For this one, the Elevator spec is also 39 degrees Up from neutral Plus or minus 1 degree and 20 degrees down from neutral plus or minus 1 degree.

I heartily agree with Tom; particularily since you are working with modifications from plan, to give John Mc Bean a call.

    Sincerely,

Thanks for the replies. I also got a copy of the page from the 7SS manual from Ross. All 3 of you gave me the same information. The travels are the same as my manual so I don't have any rigging to do. My concern was if the travel was less than the shorter elevator in the model 5.
