I just got back from the airport. I checked out the air to see if it was smooth. I would like to report that after 1.8 hours of checking out the sky's the air was ver smooth. It was a little cold but smooth. A good start for the New Year.

One hour in today. Flew out to my brothers airpark 85 miles west of Phoenix.
Smooth cool air. 20 miles vis. 55 degrees. All in all, a pretty good start to 2016.

Happy New Year to all my fellow Kitfox Flyers. Was able to get 1.7 hrs in yesterday. A bit chilli as don't have cabin heat yet. Good news is it was 0C or 32 F on the ground and just 400 feet up it was 14 C or 57 F. A pleasant surprise. So starting the year off right...
