    Default Wing performance

I am curious, in the context of another application, whether the Junkers flapperons used on the Kit Fox improves the overall lift and speed performance of the plane, i.e., in comparison to the same profile without the flapperon.

I've never felt brave enough to fly mine without the flaperons ... It might
go faster for a short time ...

If you are technically inclined, the NASA report server has at least several reports that delve into the performance of wings with external airfoil flaps (aka flaperons). As far as I know, they do improve the lift of the wing, but they do add drag, and to maximize speed, they need to have a small negative angle of incidence. I would say that they probably do not improve speed.
