    I would think if you use the price from 20 years ago you would at least need to factor in the inflation to get it in current $.

    If something comes up as a great deal it will be gone in days. If is doesn't than it is probably priced too high.

    The seller of the Vixen/Lycoming does say OBO so it wouldn't be wrong to make a reasonable lower offer or ask him what his lowest price is.

    Keep in mind that it is a tri-gear. I dont think those models were switchable to tail dragger. If that matters.

    The series 5 are not switchable.

    If it is a kit and the fuselage is not covered, the tail taildragger landing gear attachments and reinforcements could be welded in.

    Thanks all. Maybe that particular kit is not for me. It’s been sitting for some time. I was able to meet a builder of a KF and got a chance to sit in one...... i would have probably fit comfortably in it 20 years a go......I might be better off in a Bearhawk......oh, snap....I Just said Bearhawk......
