Default Removing old stits paint from rear windows

Does anyone have any tricks to try for removing this old paint overspray without damaging plastic.

Otherwise I was considering removing the old stits fabric and bonding in new plastic directly to frame with Sikaflex 295UV system or similar.

    Best regards,

    Rob

Thanks for info, they will no doubt need to be micropolished, any ideas for suitable strength solvent to (was thinking with gentle use of cotton swap) remove the old paint as it's stuck pretty well and certain to not easily polish off?
